Biking
Ixtapa Zihuatanejo has a bike path that extends 25 kilometers and is recognized as one of the most emblematic sites of the destination. Bike, jog or rollerskate under a canopy of trees and enjoy the nature that surrounds the route.
The bike path is broken up into two sections, starting from the Ixtapa Marina to the Golf Club, then crosses the Aztlan Ecological Reserve, which is a nature reserve for crocodiles, iguanas and birds, then finishes at Playa Linda in Ixtapa. There is another bicycle trail in the opposite direction, which covers 3.8km connecting Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo.
And for those looking for something less leisurely, there’s 6km of fun at the mountain trail that can be found in the middle of the Aztlán Park ecological reserve. It’s the perfect place to train and challenge your physical condition by reaching the summit.
