Zihuatanejo By Foot
Prepare to be transported back into time when you walk through downtown Zihuatanejo. You can see the tradition of this emblematic fishing village with its picturesque streets, local artisans, and street vendors. The port is where all the commotion lies. Take a visit at 7:00 am and see the fish market in action. Take photos of the fishermen making their way with the catch of the day or come and barter for a kilo of tuna (or maybe even 2!). Swing by at night, especially on Sundays for cultural night. Here you’ll see the locals taking it easy and enjoying a basketball game or live show hosted by the city. Come hungry too because there’s food cards a plenty here.
And you cannot leave without visiting the Municipal Market. Here you can find everything from artisanal to market goods here like handwoven baskets, bags, hats and other palm articles, which is a staple of the Costa Grande region.

The Catch of the Day
The early bird gets the worm, and in this case, the early riser gets the best pickings of the catch of the day over at the fisherman's market.Guerrero Chilate
Guerrero is a gastronomic hotspot, and you can’t fully get the Zihuatanejo experience without trying a Chilate. Served cold, this drink is a blend of chocolate, cinnamon, rice milk and brown sugar
