La Ropa Beach
This wonderful bay has recently been awarded as one of the best and most romantic beaches to visit in Mexico by TripAdvisor. It's perfect for swimming in its calm waters, paddle boarding, hiking from end to end, enjoying the restaurants on the sand as you enjoy the magnificent sunset.
La Ropa got its name when a Colonial ship making its way from Bombay became shipwrecked, releasing the fine fabrics that were onboard. The fine silks and clothes washed ashore to the beach, thus christening the beach as La Ropa.
